Oak Ridges Moraine Trail
One particular project the ORMF has thoroughly supported is the
completion of an east to west continuous trail across the entire length of the
Moraine. On Thursday, October 21, 2010, the ORMF and Oak Ridges Trail
Association celebrated the opening of 10 new trail kilometers in Cramahe
Township. These ten kilometers represented the final link in a vision for a
continuous trail across the Moraine, which is significant as a completed trail
traversing the Moraine was one of the main objectives of the Oak Ridges Moraine
Conservation Plan.
