Bruce's Mill Conservation Area
Conveniently located off Highway 404, Bruce's Mill is a popular destination for residents of the City of Toronto and York Region. Amenities include: 10 kilometers of hiking trails, 11 picnic areas, a driving range, open playing fields for soccer or baseball, pool available for private rental.
Bruce's Mill Conservation Area will be part of the future Rouge Park Trail Network. The area houses several wetlands, grassy areas and mature woodlots and is home to more than 50 species of birds. Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is also home to the TRCA Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival, which runs from early March to mid-April. Approximately 20,000 people visit the festival each year where they learn about the traditional and modern methods of maple syrup production, take a wagon ride and enjoy pancakes with real maple syrup.
Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is also home to the York Region Safety Village and hosts the annual York Region Water Festival.
