PRESS RELEASE

Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation to continue local education program

KING CITY, ON, December 10, 2010- The Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation (ORMF) will continue to support education programming in local schools for 2011.

The curriculum based program is meant to engage school aged children and the general public with the Oak Ridges Moraine. It is a presentation supported by a series of educational tools for the Moraine that can be used in classes ranging from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12.

In 2010 the ORMF provided their program resources to the nine conservation authorities on the Moraine, Oak Ridges Trail Association, Save the Oak Ridges Moraine Coalition and Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust to increase Moraine-based outreach education opportunities.

For more information please contact Lisa Turnbull, ORMF Program Manager, at lisa,turnbull@ormf.com or (905) 833-5733 ext. 23.
